Authorize a client, check its connection, and revoke access.

Each MCP connection uses browser authorization. You choose the session keys and
access it receives. Credentials stay in your OS keyring, not in the client config.

## Connect [#connect]

Use the profile from your client's `mcp serve` arguments. For example:

```sh
namera mcp login --profile codex
```

Open the printed authorization URL if the browser does not open automatically.
Approve only the access this client needs.

You can also start from the client: the first authenticated tool call opens
consent when no usable connection exists. After approval, retry that request.
Simply seeing tools in the client does not mean you have signed in.

Ordinary `namera login`, your client's own account login, and `NAMERA_API_KEY`
do not authorize the Namera MCP connection.

## Check the Connection [#check-the-connection]

```sh
namera mcp status --profile codex
```

Status reports the saved connection on this machine. It is not a live check of
server-side access. A revoked grant can still appear locally connected until a
tool request checks it.

If login is required, run `namera mcp login` with that profile again. Saved
credentials normally allow the client to reconnect without a new browser approval.

## Change Access [#change-access]

Manage the connection and session-key permissions in the dashboard. If you need
to select a different set of keys, authorize the same profile again. A client
cannot expand its own permissions through a tool call.

## Disconnect [#disconnect]

```sh
namera mcp logout --profile codex
```

Logout disables the local credentials and requests revocation of the MCP
authorization. If revocation fails, follow the error's instructions to revoke
the connection in the dashboard. Imported session keys are not deleted.

Also remove or disable the server in your client. Removing its configuration
alone does not revoke the authorization.
