Give your AI client access to Namera accounts within the permissions you choose.

Namera connects your AI client to accounts, session keys, transactions, and
signatures through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). You approve access in your
browser. The agent discovers the available tools and uses them on your behalf.

## What You Can Ask [#what-you-can-ask]

### Inspect Your Accounts [#inspect-your-accounts]

> List my Namera accounts and show which networks each session key can use.

### Check Activity [#check-activity]

> Show the recent confirmed transactions for my Namera account.

### Prepare an Action [#prepare-an-action]

> Check whether my Namera session key allows the transfer I describe. Simulate
> it, explain the result, and wait for my approval before submitting anything.

Your session key's permissions remain the limit, regardless of what you ask the
agent to do. Prompts guide the agent; they do not grant or restrict server-side
authority. Configure that in the [dashboard](https://dashboard.namera.ai).

## How It Connects [#how-it-connects]

The Namera CLI includes a local MCP server. Your client starts it automatically
and communicates over **stdio**. You do not run a background daemon or paste an
API key into a client configuration.

The process runs on your machine and calls the Namera API. It is not an offline
wallet, and there is no hosted Namera MCP URL to add to cloud-only clients.

Start with [Installation](https://namera.ai/docs/mcp/installation), then
[choose your client](https://namera.ai/docs/mcp/clients).
