Understand network-specific balances, permissions, and transaction status.

An account operates on a specific blockchain network for each transaction.
The network determines which balances, contracts, permissions, and activity
apply to that operation.

## Supported Networks [#supported-networks]

Namera supports these EVM mainnets and testnets:

| Mainnet | Testnet |
| ------------ | ---------------- |
| Ethereum | Ethereum Sepolia |
| Base | Base Sepolia |
| Arbitrum One | Arbitrum Sepolia |
| OP Mainnet | OP Sepolia |

All eight use ETH as their native gas currency. Testnet ETH is separate from
mainnet ETH. Use a testnet, such as Base Sepolia, when trying a new integration.

For the exact identifiers used in code, see
[Supported Networks in the SDK](https://namera.ai/docs/sdk/supported-networks).

## Balances Belong to a Network [#balances-belong-to-a-network]

ETH held on Base is not an Ethereum balance. Selecting another network does
not move or bridge assets, even if the account address looks the same.

A token's symbol is not enough to identify it. Check its network and contract
address, and check the recipient's network before funding an account or sending
assets. A contract address on one network does not imply the same contract
exists on another.

## Permissions Are Installed per Network [#permissions-are-installed-per-network]

A session key needs owner-approved installation on every network where it will
operate. An installation on Base does not authorize Ethereum or Base Sepolia.

Each installation has its own status and approved authorization. The key can
be active because one installation succeeded while another is still pending.
Check the requested network, not only the key's overall status.

Removing installed permissions is also network-specific. Revoking access through
Namera starts the cutoff, but onchain removal must finish on each installed
network. See [Session Keys](https://namera.ai/docs/concepts/session-keys#ending-access).

## Transactions and Gas [#transactions-and-gas]

Gas pays for execution on the selected network. Sponsorship, when available,
covers gas; it does not supply the ETH or tokens you intend to transfer.
Self-funded execution requires sufficient native currency for gas as well as
any amount being sent.

Transactions have their own submission and confirmation state. Check activity
and explorer links on the network used by the operation.

If Namera pauses a supported network, new operations can be rejected while
status checks remain available. A pause is not cancellation of an operation
already signed or submitted.
