# Getting Started

Connect your terminal, inspect an account, and send a test transaction.

## Install the CLI [#install-the-cli]

```sh
npm install -g @namera-ai/cli
```

Use Node.js 24.14+ and an unlocked OS keyring.

## Set Up Your Account [#set-up-your-account]

In the [Namera dashboard](https://dashboard.namera.ai), create or choose an account.
Choose a separate recipient address you control on **Base Sepolia**.

Create a session key that permits a **0.001 ETH** transfer to that recipient.
If the dashboard gives you an encrypted import command, run it on this machine
and enter the export passphrase privately:

```sh
namera session-key import <encrypted-export> --host https://api.namera.ai
```

Approve the key's installation on Base Sepolia in the dashboard. Wait until it
is active, and fund the account with test ETH. Importing alone does not approve
network access.

## Sign In [#sign-in]

```sh
namera login
```

Approve the requested access and select your active session key in the browser.
After approval:

<div className="docs-response">

```text
OK Signed in as "personal".
-> Run namera wallet list to see your wallets.
```

</div>

## List Accounts and Session Keys [#list-accounts-and-session-keys]

```sh
namera wallet list
```

<div className="docs-response">

```text
Found 1 delegated wallet:
👛 Example account | Active
-> Address: 0x1111111111111111111111111111111111111111
-> Network type: EVM
-> Custody: Namera-managed
-> Description: SDK test account
-> Created: 11 Oct 2026, 09:00:00 UTC
```

</div>

```sh
namera session-key list
```

<div className="docs-response">

```text
👛 Example account
🔑 Example session | Active | Expires in 31 days
-> Networks: Base Sepolia
```

</div>

Use `namera wallet get` or `namera session-key get` to choose a resource and
inspect its details. Use `--output json` when you need IDs for scripts.

## Simulate the Transfer [#simulate-the-transfer]

```sh
namera execution simulate
```

Choose EVM, your account and session key, then Base Sepolia. Enter your recipient,
`1000000000000000` for the amount in wei (0.001 ETH), and `0x` for calldata.

<div className="docs-response">

```text
Transaction preview
-> Account: 👛 Example account
-> Network: Base Sepolia
-> Session key: Example session
-> Policy decision: Allowed
-> Calls: Succeeded
Simulation only. No transaction was submitted.
```

</div>

Simulation does not submit a transaction. An allowed preview is not a guarantee
that a later execution will succeed.

## Execute the Transfer [#execute-the-transfer]

```sh
namera execution execute
```

Enter the same inputs and choose sponsored gas when prompted. This command
submits the transaction; prompts collect inputs, not a dry run.

<Callout type="warn" title="Use the test network">
  Select Base Sepolia and a recipient you control. The amount is entered in wei: `1000000000000000`
  is 0.001 ETH.
</Callout>

<div className="docs-response">

  namera execution status 0199dfe1-0000-7000-8000-000000000003
```
</div>
## Check the Submission [#check-the-submission]
Use the submission ID printed by your command:
```sh
namera execution status 0199dfe1-0000-7000-8000-000000000003
```
<div className="docs-response">
```text
-> Status: Pending confirmation
-> UserOp Hash: 0x1111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111

Not confirmed yet. Check again with:
  namera execution status 0199dfe1-0000-7000-8000-000000000003
```
</div>
Keep checking that ID until the status is Confirmed or Failed. Do not rerun
`execute` to check progress.
Example output uses fixture accounts and hashes, captured with the CLI's output
formatters. Plain-text output is shown without terminal colors; your values and
relative expiry dates will differ.
Next, use [Transfer Assets](https://namera.ai/docs/cli/guides/transactions/transfer-assets) for
explicit flags or [Connect Codex](https://namera.ai/docs/cli/guides/automation/connect-codex) to
give an agent access.
